Meet the Beach Guardians — a team of dogs trained specially to protect beachgoers from the sun. The elite of the elite, they patrol the beach on the lookout for those in need of sunscreen.

While on holiday, people still forget to protect themselves from the sun. So we wanted to find a friendly way to remind beachgoers to stay safe. Using man’s best friend, dogs, we assembled a team to detect the presence or absence of sunscreen on someone. Our Beach Guardians were specially trained to sniff out a non-toxic active ingredient — zinc oxide, and to signal to our handlers. Once they’ve found someone not wearing sunscreen, our lovely attendants will offer them a free and environmentally friendly sample of our Human Nature sunscreen.
